McMurry University’s tradition of academic excellence and genuine focus on student success has produced graduates with global perspectives that are well rounded, knowledgeable and skilled. Now thanks to the generosity of a West Texas rancher, that academic tradition will be enriched even more. Ten entering students will be selected to receive $5000 in addition to any other scholarships that they receive. This renewable scholarship will be awarded each year the Matthews Scholar maintains their academic standing.
