The McMurry Promise works with all students with significant financial need and high academic ability from Abilene and Taylor County. All qualified incoming commuter freshmen will get FREE tuition during their first year. The students will then only need the Federal Loan Program for the remaining three years. This will allow them to graduate with a bachelor's degree from McMurry with no more than $10,500 in loans, 58% less than the average Texas graduate.
The McMurry Promise continues the tradition of service, academic excellence and genuine focus on student success.
