Transfer Students

McMurry Campus

We are excited you are considering McMurry as part of your University experience. We are committed to providing you with smooth transition into our McMurry community. Transferring can be an intimidating step, and we want to partner with you from the beginning.  From helping you understand which courses can transfer to putting you in touch with professors in your area of study, your advisor will be there to help you through your transition.

Our commitment to those who serve is simple, if you or an immediate family member is employed full-time in public service, non-profit, healthcare, education or public safety or military, we'll cover at minimum half your tuition at McMurry. McMurry University is the place to train for a life of service.


  • 1) Submit the free online application 
  • 2) Submit transcripts for all institutions previously attended. If you have completed less than 24 transferrable credit hours, submit your high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores (if applicable and under the age of 22).

McMurry accepts:

  • Up to 66 semester hours from a two-year college
  • Remedial coursework and grades of “D” or lower are not transferable but may be considered in the admissions decision
  • Technical and vocational courses are not transferable, with a few exceptions
